Walk-in Sick Clinic
For your convenience we provide a walk-in sick clinic for our established patients and for new patients transferring care to our office. Walk-in sick clinic hours are Monday through Saturday from 8:30 am to 11:30 am . New patients should try to arrive by 10:30am . These hours are to accommodate sick patients who are experiencing an immediate problem or illness, for example a fever, sore throat, or earache. An appointment is not necessary. Chronic complaints may require a scheduled appointment. If your child is sick and morning clinic has finished, please call our office to speak with our triage nurse. There is a $30 convenience fee in addition to any co-pay for all Saturday and evening after hour appointments.
During sick clinic you may see the first available provider or wait to see the provider of your choice. Because we are a small practice we hope that you will feel comfortable with all of our providers.
Well Child Visits / Camp and Sports Physicals
Bringing your child in for regular Well Child visits is an important part of their health care. These visits allow your doctor to evaluate your child’s health, growth, development and provide anticipatory guidance. Our doctors see patients for well checks and camp/sport physicals on an appointment basis only. Please keep in mind that your child should be well for these visits. If your child has additional complaints a separate office visit may be necessary. We recommend scheduling your well child visit 1-2 months in advance so that you may see the physician of your choice. If your physician is not available you have the option of scheduling with one of our other providers. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel within 24 hours so that we may offer the appointment time to another patient. Appointments not cancelled 24 hours
prior to your appointment time will be charged a $25 cancellation fee. For your convenience, please visit our forms page to view the immunization schedule and print any necessary forms prior to your appointment.
After Hours
One of our pediatric providers is on all call weeknights, weekends and on holidays. You can reach a triage nurse with the Seton call center by dialing our main office number at (512) 338-8500 and selecting the appropriate option. You will be transferred automatically. If there is no answer you can contact MedLink at (512) 323-5465 (323-LINK). Please use this service for calls that cannot wait for office hours. The call center fee of $15.00 will be assessed to your account for each call made.
